Samsung has rolled out the second beta version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 series. This update is currently available for users in South Korea, the UK, and Germany, with expansion to India and Poland.
At this time, there have been no reports of the beta reaching users in the US, although they were included in the initial wave of the first beta release. The first One UI 8 beta was released last month, providing a preview of features that will accompany the Android 16 update.
Following Google’s release of a stable Android 16, Samsung has launched the second beta version, which is about 1.2GB in size. Users will notice different version numbers (S938NKSU4ZYF3, S938NOKR4ZYF3, S938NKSU4BYF3) depending on their region.
The significant improvements and bug fixes included in this update enhance overall user experience. New features include a user feedback tool aimed at improving interpreter performance.
The update also addresses various issues such as the alignment problem with the Now brief text, persistent morning briefing screens, and widget size problems on the lock screen. Additionally, it resolves errors related to fingerprint recognition, Bluetooth call volume, and notification sounds during gaming.
To join the One UI 8 beta program, users should download the Samsung Members app and sign in with their Samsung Account. If eligible, a One UI 8 Beta Program banner will appear on the home page.
Interested users can click on it to complete their registration and check for updates under Settings > Software update > Download and Install. Feedback on the new software changes is encouraged.
