AT&T has recently introduced a new plan specifically designed for customers aged 55 and older. This initiative aims to provide affordable wireless services that cater to the needs of older adults. The AT&T 55 Plus plan is priced at $40 per month for a single line, while adding a second line brings the cost down to $35 per month for each line. This plan includes unlimited talk, text, and data within the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Furthermore, subscribers will receive 10GB of hotspot data, along with access to AT&T’s cybersecurity suite, ActiveArmor, which helps protect users from spam and scams. AT&T also backs this plan with a guarantee, offering bill credits in the event of a wireless outage lasting 60 minutes or more. In addition to these benefits, an exciting new offer will allow customers to bundle their wireless service with home internet options. Jenifer Robertson, executive VP and GM of AT&T Mass Markets, announced that new and existing customers aged 55 and older will soon have the chance to combine their two wireless lines with AT&T’s high-speed Fiber or flexible Internet Air, all for under $100.
According to AT&T’s blog, the total cost to bundle two lines with Internet 300 or Internet Air will be $99 per month, excluding taxes and fees. This presents a valuable opportunity for older adults or their families to consider when looking for affordable communication and internet solutions. Overall, the AT&T 55 Plus plan offers a competitive package that could be ideal for parents or older loved ones seeking reliable wireless service at a lower cost.
