A recent teardown of the HeyMelody companion app, version 15.6.1, has unveiled upcoming audio products from OnePlus and OPPO, along with their potential features. OnePlus is set to release the Buds 4, Wireless Z3, and Open Buds, while OPPO is working on new Enco earbuds. The OnePlus Buds 4 will feature real-time adaptive noise cancelation, swipe controls similar to the Buds 3, and spatial audio capabilities.
However, it remains uncertain if this model will include head-tracking for spatial audio, a feature present in the more advanced OnePlus Buds Pro models. Furthermore, details about the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 were found during the APK teardown, confirming that these earbuds will also support spatial audio, though not with head-tracking. They will come equipped with updated button controls and compatibility with the HeyTap app.
In addition to the aforementioned products, OnePlus is expected to launch the Open Buds, which are likely a rebranded version of OPPO’s Enco Clip earbuds. These earbuds will offer features such as noise cancelation, tap sensitivity adjustments, support for dual devices, smart volume control, and compatibility with OnePlus 3D Audio, also known as OPPO Alive Audio. The teardown has also revealed several upcoming OPPO earbuds, including the Enco R4 with dual device connections, the Enco Buds 3 Pro which lacks noise cancelation but offers OPPO Alive Audio and a custom equalizer, and the Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus featuring all the characteristics of the Buds 3 Pro along with noise cancelation.
As a user fond of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z series due to their fast charging and excellent battery life, I hope the new Bullets Wireless Z3 will continue to meet these expectations.
