OnePlus has introduced the OnePlus 13T, a compact Android flagship that features the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, along with options for up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Notably, the device boasts a relatively small 6.32-inch display while housing an impressive 6,260mAh battery. However, it is surprising to note that the phone lacks wireless charging capabilities.
As of now, OnePlus has not revealed any plans for a global launch of the 13T. The OnePlus 13 was already a strong contender among Android flagships, but it is a larger device. As demand for smaller smartphones grows, OnePlus aims to cater to this need with the new 13T, which balances size and battery life.
Key specifications of the OnePlus 13T include its lightweight design at just 185g, making it easier to handle compared to larger flagship models. The 6.32-inch flat LTPO display offers a resolution of 1.5K (2,640 x 1,216 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a brightness range that peaks at 1,600 nits. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and supports substantial RAM and storage options as well as an efficient cooling system intended for gaming.
In addition to its robust battery, the OnePlus 13T is the first device from the brand to replace the Alert Slider with a customizable “Shortcut Key.” It features a dual-camera system on the back with a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens, while the front offers a 16MP camera. However, it does not include an ultrawide camera, a decision that reflects the manufacturer’s focus on prioritizing telephoto capabilities. Currently, the OnePlus 13T is available in China in various configurations and pricing options.
