Leak Reveals Galaxy S25 Edge Launch Dates and US Availability Information

Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13, according to recent leaks from a Korean publication. The anticipated launch will coincide with a dedicated Unpacked event, followed by the phone’s release in China and Korea on May 23. The global rollout, which includes the United States, is expected on May 30.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is reported to start at approximately 1.5 million won, which is around $1,046 for the 256GB model. For those considering the 512GB variant, the price is expected to be about 1.63 million won, or $1,137. This pricing puts the S25 Edge at a higher point than the S25 Plus, which is estimated to retail around $911 in Korea.

Notably, reports suggest that there will not be a 1TB version of the device. In terms of promotions, Samsung is likely to continue its trend of appealing to early adopters, potentially offering double the storage capacity without additional cost for pre-order customers. Interestingly, it appears that there won’t be any color options exclusive to purchases made on Samsung’s official website, though it remains unclear if this policy will extend internationally.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is characterized by its sleek design, measuring a mere 5.84mm thick, and it will feature a large 6.7-inch display. Other notable specifications include the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, battery options of either 3,900mAh or 4,000mAh, and a sophisticated dual rear camera system boasting 200MP and 50MP sensors.
