CMF Phone 2 Teaser Suggests Significant Upgrades to Camera Features

Nothing has begun teasing a new device shortly after the release of the Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro. This upcoming model is likely to be the CMF Phone 2, the second phone from their budget-oriented sub-brand, CMF.

Early indications suggest that notable camera enhancements may be on the way for this latest offering. Last year, Nothing introduced its CMF sub-brand with the launch of the CMF Phone 1, which featured a unique and customizable design with a removable back cover and an accessory point.

While specific details about the CMF Phone 2 remain scarce, the company has shared a teaser on its community forums showcasing an intriguing camera setup. The short video presents a dual-camera system alongside a secondary cutout within a pill-shaped design, hinting at improved photographic capabilities.

This teaser aligns with concept images of the CMF Phone 2 that recently appeared on social media, showcasing the pill-shaped island next to the dual-camera configuration on the rear. The tagline accompanying the teaser, “In search of the perfect shot,” further insinuates that an enhanced triple-camera system could be a key feature of this new device.

Additionally, it’s suggested that the CMF Phone 2 may launch in the brand’s signature orange color. Currently, speculation about the phone’s specifications includes a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The camera setup may feature a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth or macro sensor, and a 16MP selfie camera. As the launch date approaches, which could be later this month, more details are expected to emerge.
