One UI 7 Release Timeline: Find Out When Your Device Will Receive the Update – Android Authority

The rollout schedule for One UI 7, Samsung’s latest software update, has just been announced for Samsung members in Korea. Typically, the Korean rollout closely follows that of the U.S., so this information could serve as a general timeline for users in other regions. According to the schedule, key devices are expected to receive One UI 7 by the end of May.

Historically, Samsung has been known for promptly delivering the latest Android updates to its flagship phones and tablets. However, with the release of Android 15, the company seems to have slowed down its update process. As of now, many popular models are still running One UI 6, which is based on Android 14, despite the official launch of Android 15 taking place in October and One UI 7 debuting with the Galaxy S25 series earlier this February.

A screenshot posted to the Samsung Members forum outlines the expected rollout dates for One UI 7 in Korea. The timeline suggests that the updates for the most significant devices will occur in phases, starting with the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6 in April 2025. Other devices like the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy S23 series are scheduled for updates by May, followed by additional models in June, covering a wide range of Samsung’s devices.

It’s important to note that if your device is not listed, it may still receive the update but hasn’t been included in this specific schedule. For example, the Galaxy S21 FE is absent because it wasn’t launched in Korea. Further details will be provided once Samsung releases an official update timeline for the U.S. market.

Most users with recent Samsung devices can expect to find their models among those scheduled for updates.
