Google Plans Larger Battery and Enhanced Charging for Upcoming Pixel 10 – Android Authority

Recent leaks suggest that the Google Pixel 10 will feature significant upgrades over its predecessor. A report indicates that the device will have a 6.3-inch FHD+ display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. While the display is reminiscent of that used in the Pixel 9, it is expected to be brighter — approximately 2,000 nits, which is around 200 nits more than the previous model.

In terms of hardware, the Pixel 10 is anticipated to come with 12GB of RAM and storage options of either 128GB or 256GB. One of the standout features is the proposed battery, speculated to be 4,970mAh, with an improved wired charging speed of 29W, up from 27W seen in the last model. Additionally, it is expected to support 15W Qi2 wireless charging, enhancing its convenience.

Camera specifications are also a topic of debate among leaks. Initial reports suggested that the Pixel 10 would house a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide, and an 11MP telephoto lens. More recent information contradicts this by stating the camera setup will likely consist of a 48MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera.

Adding to the excitement, there are indications that the Pixel 10 might not include a vapor chamber, a detail that surfaced shortly before these specifications were revealed. The Pixel 10 is slated for launch on August 20, with shipments expected to begin on August 28.
