Samsung has shared insights into the most popular Good Lock modules, showcasing how users can enhance the customization of their Galaxy phones. According to the tech giant, the leading app is Sound Assistant, which has achieved 21 million downloads. Following closely are Theme Park and One Hand Operation Plus, each offering unique features for personalization.
Sound Assistant stands out for its ability to customize audio settings, allowing users to adjust volume levels on a per-app basis. This feature is particularly beneficial for those who want to enjoy music while preventing disruptive sounds from other apps, such as social media. Moreover, Sound Assistant enables adjustments to the volume slider’s appearance and provides control over volume increments via the volume rocker.
Next on the list is Theme Park, boasting 17 million downloads. This app empowers users to create personalized themes, starting with wallpapers and extending to the overall aesthetics of the device. With Theme Park, users can customize the Samsung Keyboard, quick panels, volume panels, and icons, ensuring a unique interface tailored to their preferences.
The app’s recent One UI 7 update allows further refinements, including changes to home screen folder appearances. Ranking third is One Hand Operation Plus, which has seen downloads reach 16 million. This app enriches the back gesture functionality in Android.
Users can employ predefined inward swipes to navigate back or customize these gestures for various actions. Additionally, it supports diagonal gestures for greater flexibility. Each side of the screen can have distinct actions assigned, allowing for customized navigation experiences.
While these Good Lock modules are immensely popular, they are not universally available in all markets. There is hope that Samsung will expand accessibility and possibly integrate some features into One UI itself for a broader reach.
