The Moto G Stylus (2025) Offers Notable Upgrades Compared to Its Previous Version

Motorola has recently launched the Moto G Stylus (2025), its upgraded budget phone featuring a built-in stylus. Priced at $399.99, it offers an array of enhancements, including a more powerful processor, a brighter display, and improved charging capabilities.

The device will be available starting April 17. For fans of stylus-equipped smartphones, the Moto G Stylus (2025) presents an affordable alternative to the pricier Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

While it may not rival flagship features, it emphasizes value, making it a strong contender in its price range. The recent upgrades position the Moto G Stylus (2025) as a more compelling option compared to last year’s version.

The new model maintains the same display size as its predecessor but features a brighter and higher-resolution 6.7-inch pOLED panel. Instead of the previous 1080p screen with a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits, the 2025 version boasts a 2712X1220p display that reaches an impressive 3,000 nits at peak brightness.

Additionally, it is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, promising enhanced performance over the older Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. While the battery capacity remains unchanged at 5,000mAh, wired charging has significantly improved from 30W to 68W for quicker top-ups.

Wi-Fi charging is still available at 15W, which is adequate for its budget segment. The device also meets durability standards with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification.

Camera improvements include a refined 50MP main camera, retaining the 13MP ultrawide lens, and a larger aperture for the upgraded 32MP front camera. Running on Motorola’s Hello UX atop Android 15, the Moto G Stylus (2025) comes in two stylish colorways.

It will initially be available unlocked through major retailers and later through various carriers.
