The Pixel 10 Pro XL could feature the biggest battery ever seen in a Pixel device.

Recent leaks indicate that the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL may not present significant changes compared to their predecessors, the Pixel 9 series. Both models are anticipated to feature the new Tensor G5 chipset, along with 16GB of RAM and storage options that reach up to 1TB. While the camera hardware is expected to remain unchanged, enhancements in battery performance and charging capabilities are on the horizon. As the launch event for the rumored Pixel 10 series approaches, details about the devices are coming to light.

A previous report highlighted the specifications of the base Pixel 10, and now, new information has surfaced regarding the Pro models. Unlike the base variant, which is set to demonstrate considerable improvements, the Pro versions are believed to make only minor adjustments. Reports suggest that they will continue to use the same 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch LTPO displays, featuring a variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. Internally, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL will be equipped with the Tensor G5 chipset, complemented by 16GB of RAM.

Notably, the Pixel 10 Pro XL will not include a 128GB storage option; it will instead be available in configurations of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Conversely, the standard Pixel 10 Pro will also offer a 128GB model. In terms of photography, both Pro models are expected to retain the same camera system as their predecessors, which includes a 50MP main sensor, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto functionalities. They will feature the capability to capture macro shots using both the ultrawide and telephoto lenses.

Battery specifications reveal the Pixel 10 Pro will house a 4,870mAh battery with 29W wired charging support, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL may feature a robust 5,200mAh battery, marking the largest battery in a Pixel device yet. It will support 39W wired charging, with both models also compatible with 15W wireless charging. If these expected specs hold true, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL may not immediately attract attention. However, Google could potentially unveil software enhancements to elevate their appeal.

With the rumored launch date around August 20, more details are likely to emerge soon.
