Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event is highly anticipated, particularly for the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Scheduled for July 9, new information from a leak suggests that there may be an unexpected addition to the lineup: a triple-folding phone. According to the leak, while the device is expected to be announced during the event, it won’t be available for purchase until October.
This means buyers of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 may experience an extended pre-order period, with shipping not expected until August. The leak comes from Setsuna Digital, which also provided what appear to be credible specifications for the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, many of which align with previous leaks. However, as with all rumors, it’s important to approach this information cautiously.
So far, despite various credible rumors and renders for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7, there have been no leaked images or information about the triple-folding phone, suggesting that Samsung is keeping details tightly under wraps. There’s a possibility that the company may only tease the device at the event, with plans for a more significant launch later. Interest in Samsung’s triple-folding phone has been growing, with previous reports indicating it could feature two inward-folding hinges, producing a 9.96-inch main display and a 6.49-inch external screen.
Speculation also suggests that the phone may include a titanium and aluminum frame, support up to 16GB of RAM, and utilize a Snapdragon chipset. Initial 생산 may be limited to around 200,000 units, indicating a niche market for this innovative yet likely expensive device. If the leak holds true, Samsung’s Unpacked event could showcase a total of four foldables, underscoring the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of smartphone technology.
