Samsung to Launch New Galaxy Buds Core This Week

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Buds Core, the successors to the Galaxy Buds FE, later this week. According to a listing on Amazon India, these affordable earbuds will be available starting June 27. However, it remains uncertain whether customers in the United States will have access to the new model upon its release. The Galaxy Buds Core are expected to continue the tradition set by the Galaxy Buds FE, which debuted in 2023 with a price tag of $99.

Despite the excitement surrounding the release, Samsung has not confirmed a U.S. launch for the Buds Core. This leaves many American consumers wondering if they will be able to purchase them at launch. Hints about the Buds Core have surfaced over the past few weeks. Previous APK teardowns indicated that Samsung was developing both the Buds Core and the Galaxy Buds 3 FE.

Recently, the Buds Core were spotted on Samsung’s official UAE website, suggesting a potential global rollout, though the U.S. market might not be included initially. The most recent addition to the Galaxy Buds series was the premium Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, launched in mid-2024. With the release of the Buds Core, it seems that Samsung is focusing on delivering notable enhancements, particularly in battery life. Reports from a certification listing indicate that the Buds Core may feature larger batteries compared to the Buds FE, with the possibility of a 200mAh capacity for the earbuds and a 500mAh charging case.

If these specifications hold true, users may enjoy extended listening times, addressing one of the few shortcomings of the Buds FE. As the launch date approaches, more information will likely emerge, particularly regarding the availability of these earbuds in the U.S. market.
