OnePlus has recently introduced the OnePlus Pad 3 in the United States, aiming to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab series. This flagship Android tablet features a striking 13.2-inch LCD display that offers an impressive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and comes with configurations of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, running on Oxygen OS based on Android 15. The tablet is available for pre-order in the US for $700, and buyers can select two complimentary accessories from a choice of a keyboard, folio case, or stylus.
Despite the decline in Android tablet availability over the years, brands like Samsung continue to launch a range of models. The OnePlus Pad 3 aims to break through this competitive market. It boasts a unique 3,392 x 2,400 pixel resolution in a 7:5 aspect ratio, with a maximum brightness of 900 nits in high brightness mode, making it suitable for various tasks. Underpinning the large display is a 12,140mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, though wireless charging is absent.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, but there is no cellular option available. The tablet is equipped with dual microphones, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera, but it lacks a fingerprint scanner, relying instead on facial recognition. The OnePlus Pad 3 runs on Oxygen OS 15, promising three major Android updates and six years of security patches. It is priced at $699.99 in Storm Blue, with pre-orders open until July 7, 2025.
Buyers can also benefit from a $100 trade-in bonus and a 10% discount for students during the promotional period, with sales commencing on July 8, 2025.
