Recent leaks suggest that the Nothing Phone 3 is poised to deliver significant upgrades, despite the absence of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. While the source of this leak isn’t widely recognized, it has presented credible information in the past, allowing for cautious optimism among fans.
The Nothing Phone 3 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display, marking a notable improvement over its predecessor’s 1080p screen. This upgraded display is anticipated to offer sharper visuals and a dynamic refresh rate that aligns more closely with flagship standards.
Camera performance is another area slated for enhancement. The leaked specs indicate a powerful triple-camera setup, boasting three 50MP lenses, including a main camera, an ultrawide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto shooter.
This marks a considerable upgrade from the dual-camera arrangement found on the Phone 2. The front-facing camera is also set for improvement, featuring a 50MP sensor compared to the 32MP camera on the previous model.
A significant boost in battery capacity is rumored, with a 5,150mAh battery and a remarkable 100W wired charging capability. If accurate, this would represent a substantial leap from the previous models, which supported 45W and 50W charging speeds.
Additionally, the phone is expected to retain wireless and reverse wireless charging options, along with eSIM and NFC support. Operating on Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, the Nothing Phone 3 promises robust software support, with five years of Android updates and seven years of security updates—an improvement over the Phone 2.
As the launch date approaches on July 1, fans are eager to see how these enhancements will shape the device’s performance and user experience.
