Cellular Activation for Pixel Watch Now Available on Visible for Fans

Visible is now expanding its services by adding support for the cellular version of the Pixel Watch 2 and newer models. This is exciting news for Pixel Watch enthusiasts, as previously, the options for cellular connectivity on prepaid networks were quite limited. While major postpaid carriers fully supported Pixel Watch, only a couple of prepaid brands, including US Mobile and Google Fi, offered this capability. With Visible joining the list, fans of Google’s smartwatch have more alternatives for connectivity.

To utilize the Google Pixel Watch with Visible, users will need to subscribe to Visible Plus Pro, which costs $40 per month. Alternatively, users of the Basic or Plus plans can add smartwatch support for an additional $10 per month. Although Visible does not sell the Pixel Watch directly, it does facilitate the process of bringing your own device, making it easier for consumers to connect. Prior to this development, Visible had already established a reputation for supporting the Apple Watch, making this addition to their offerings a welcome enhancement for Pixel Watch users seeking affordable prepaid options.

Visible often ranks highly among carriers, reflecting its strong performance in the market. However, it raises questions as to why support for the Samsung Galaxy Watch family has not been included. The Galaxy Watch is another popular Android-based option, and its addition could further broaden Visible’s appeal to a larger customer base. Despite this, the company’s move to increase device compatibility is a commendable step forward, and it is hoped that future updates will bring even more extensive smartwatch support, rivaling what is available through Verizon.
