Samsung is expanding the rollout of its One UI 7 update to various devices. Initially released on April 7 for flagship models like the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6, the update is now making its way to the Galaxy A53 5G in Korea, the Galaxy A54 5G in Europe, and the Galaxy M34 in India. This progression indicates that Samsung is enhancing its release schedule, with these devices receiving updates ahead of their initially planned June rollout. Specifically, the Galaxy A53 5G has the build number A536NKSU9FYE1 and is approximately 3.4GB in size.
The Galaxy A54’s update is identified by build number A546BXXUCDYDB and is roughly 3.5GB, while the Indian version of the M34 carries build number M346BXXU7DYE1 and is about 3.6GB. Users can download the One UI 7 update by navigating to Settings > Software update on their devices. According to Samsung’s recent update schedule, most eligible devices should receive the One UI 7 update by June. The Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy A05s are the only exceptions, with their updates delayed until July.
Despite the anticipation surrounding these updates, many users have expressed dissatisfaction with certain changes in One UI 7, particularly the splitting of notifications and the quick settings panel into separate pages. Although these alterations are designed to enhance personalization and usability, they have sparked mixed reactions from users. For those who are still waiting for their devices to receive One UI 7, the June deadline is just around the corner, offering some hope of imminent updates.
