DJI’s best-selling camera sees a significant price increase.

DJI has recently announced a significant price increase for its popular Osmo Pocket 3 camera, bringing the retail price up to $799. This marks a substantial 54% hike from its original launch price of $519.

Notably, this price adjustment is limited to the US market, as there have been no changes to pricing in Canada or Europe. The Osmo Pocket 3 has captured the hearts of many vloggers due to its compact design and affordability.

However, potential buyers may soon find themselves disappointed, as the camera is currently out of stock on DJI’s website. For those looking for the Creator Combo, which includes the camera along with accessories like the Mic 2, the new price is set at $979.

This isn’t the first time the Osmo Pocket 3’s price has increased. Earlier this year, DJI stealthily raised the price to $619, coinciding with former President Donald Trump’s announcement regarding potential tariffs on Chinese products.

The latest adjustment makes the camera a staggering $280 more expensive than its initial pricing, which reflects the impact of tariffs as a contributing factor. According to DJI, these tariffs were a significant consideration in deciding to increase prices in the United States.

Given the heightened demand for the device, it seems the company feels justified in these adjustments. As the landscape for consumer electronics continues to change, particularly with global economic factors in play, customers may need to rethink their budgets if they’re looking to invest in this well-regarded camera.
