Verizon-owned Visible has introduced its new Visible Plus Pro plan, which is no joke. This offering promises to provide customers with enhanced features and improved services for a monthly fee of $45, which is $10 more than the existing Visible Plus plan. One of the standout features of the Plus Pro plan is the ability to stream video in up to 4K quality.
However, this benefit is only available when users are connected to Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband (mmWave) network. If they fall back to the sub-6GHz 5G or LTE networks, the streaming quality reduces to 1080p. This streaming experience is an upgrade from the Visible Plus plan, which only supports 720p quality in those circumstances.
In addition to improved video streaming, the Visible Plus Pro plan enhances mobile hotspot data availability, offering unlimited data at speeds of 15Mbps. In comparison, the Visible Plus plan has a cap of 10Mbps for hotspot use, while the standard Visible plan only provides speeds of 5Mbps. For Apple Watch users, the Plus Pro plan includes smartwatch service at no extra charge, a benefit not extended to other Visible plans where the service incurs an additional fee.
Moreover, this new plan includes features like unlimited calls to over 85 countries, unlimited texts to over 200 countries, and an increase in Global Pass service days from one to two each month. Overall, the Visible Plus Pro plan appears to offer significant improvements and features designed for those who value higher-quality streaming and extended services, making it a compelling option for consumers looking for prepaid cell phone plans.
