Sony Xperia 1 VII Photos Show the Revival of Purple in Mobile Photography Trends

Recent live photos of the Sony Xperia 1 VII have emerged from the Taiwanese certification website, NCC, indicating a potential revival of the color purple in the smartphone market. This flagship device is set to succeed the Xperia 1 VI.

While details regarding its specifications remain scarce, these images provide a first look at the new device and hint at some interesting features. The Xperia 1 VII closely resembles the previously leaked renders from earlier this month.

The photos reveal a design that maintains the aesthetic of its predecessor, with a sleek finish on the sides and back. The handset features three cameras on the rear and an off-center selfie camera at the front.

Notably, it seems that the headphone jack will make a return, a feature welcomed by many users. Upon examining the rear camera configuration, new insights emerge.

Earlier rumors suggested that all three rear cameras could incorporate Exmor-T sensors. However, the leaked images indicate that only the central camera may come equipped with this advanced sensor technology, leaving the other two without it.

The Xperia 1 VII is identified by the model number XQ-FSxx and is expected to be available in purple, black, and navy green colors. Speculation about its dimensions suggests it may measure 165mm x 74mm, slightly longer than the 162mm x 74mm dimensions of its predecessor.

While much remains undisclosed about the Xperia 1 VII, it is anticipated to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Additionally, there is ongoing debate regarding whether Sony will revert to using a 4K display or opt for a more conventional FHD+ display.

As more information becomes available, enthusiasts eagerly await further updates.
