The first leaks of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold have surfaced, and the news is not as thrilling as some might hope. Recent renders reveal a design that closely resembles its predecessor, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, showing little to no major changes.
While the new model may be slightly thinner, the overall appearance—including the camera layout, punch-hole selfie cameras, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor—remains virtually unchanged. As we anticipate the release of the Pixel 10 series, which is expected to launch in August, early leaks have already given us a glimpse into the new offerings.
Following recent images of the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is now making headlines. However, the lack of significant design innovation brings a sense of déjà vu for many tech enthusiasts.
The camera module appears similar in size to the previous iteration, suggesting that updates to internal components may be minimal as well. While it’s hinted that the new Fold could be slightly thinner than its predecessor, the absence of official dimensions makes it difficult to gauge the exact changes.
Despite the sameness in design, repeating successful features isn’t inherently negative if the internal specifications see meaningful upgrades. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold faced criticism for various shortcomings, including limited storage, slower charging speeds, and display specs that fell short compared to its Pro counterparts.
As a result, many users are hoping that the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold will address these issues. Google is set to officially unveil the Pixel 10 lineup, including the Fold, during its Made by Google event in August.
Until then, it is likely that more details will leak, keeping fans eager for improvements in this new foldable model.
